Golden Gate

Artsy Fartsy

Some shots we took (some by me and some by Connor) during our trip of some interesting things.  Some with the Hipstamatic and some with the regular iPhone camera.

The massive bronze doors of the Hearst Building

Our last glimpse of the Golden Gate

The end of Hyde waiting to board the cable car

AT&T Ball Park from our Duck ride

A creepy angel wraith statue that Connor found interesting

Sour dough, anyone?

The sun does shine on him.

Musee Mechanique

There is the coolest place in Fisherman's Wharf called the Musee Mechanique.  It contains antique arcade games that are bizarre and fun and crazy.  This is just a taste of them.  Its a must see and I didn't know a thing about it until we stumbled up on it.  The best kind of surprise.

You put in your coin.  The door lifts.  A small crowd.  A small guillotine.  A person in the guillotine.  And then...SWOOSH..the head comes off.  That's it. Crazy.

Vibrating Chair

Put in your coin and watch through the porthole as the Titanic drops to the depths.

Real lead balls shoot out here.

French Francisco

Little pink tent kiosk across the street from our hotel. Yum. Just yum. And a real Frenchman was inside!

Ribbit!

Got a few good pics of my baby boy on Easter Eve. He insisted on the frog boots!

The Tonga Room

On our last night in San Francisco, Connor and I got to enjoy a special dinner together at
The Tonga Room at the Fairmont San Francisco.  What a fantastic place.  If you go to San Francisco, you just have to go here.   It's a high-style Tiki restaurant that opened in 1945 and transformed the hotel's swimming pool into a massive Polynesian pond with moving band boat.  The place is spectacular.  And the food...well, its fantastic.   The best hot and sour soup I have ever had and Connor's orange chicken literally melted in the mouth.  It was hands down our favorite night of the vacation than included a final ride of the cable car at night.
