Hornets Have No Sting

The Blue Devils finally got to play their second game of the season today after 10 days of rain cancelled practice and games and general happiness all over Northern Virginia. The weather was unseasonably chilly today--high 50's, and sadly, it rained a bit again during the game but it wasn't enough to stop the total and utter dominance of the Devils over those pesky insects. Final score: 34-0. Connor had a good game with two fumble recoveries and he spent a nice amount of time playing nose guard. I think his coach was happy with his overall performance but he did give him a major NFL style screaming-at over some transgression. Connor took it like a man. It was good to see. So was his smile at the end of the game. Go Blue Devils!!
