The Little Big Player

Palmer's first season of baseball is over.  Bob loved it.  Palmer...meh.  He enjoyed hitting and running bases.  And leaving his position in the middle of an inning for a drink.  And being unable to bat because he was hanging in a tree.  And the snacks.  He really liked the snacks.

Little League Opening Day

Time for the annual Little League Opening Day festivities.  A parade, a ceremony and lots of inflatable bouncers.  What else do you need?    Palmer is an IronBird so I made all of the kids IronBirds to carry.  So cute!

A Beautiful Morning For Baseball

Just a few great shots of my baby.  He doesn't love the game yet.  He insists on many "breaks" and hates fielding.   But he's cute.

Playa Pom Pom

Last Saturday Palmer had his first baseball practice.  I remember Connor's like it was yesterday.  Bob is coaching and Connor is helping out.  As you'd expect--the whole thing was pretty adorable.

Spring Break Day 1

The boys landing in LA.  First trip without a stroller for Palmer.

First stop in LA for lunch.

I've driven through this wind farm many times but its still amazing.

Turbines as far as the eye can see

And, it doesn't look like we will be needing those jackets I packed!   This is why Palm Springs is a great Spring Break choice.  RELIABLE HOT WEATHER! And at the end of a depressing, cold snow winter....just what the doctor ordered.

We booked a giant condo for this trip. The boys have their own 1 bedroom unit attached to ours with their own kitchen, living area, bathroom, etc.   They thought it was awesome to have their own bachelor pad!

We're here for an hour and we have our first injury.  He hit himself in the eye with a ping pong paddle.  Don't ask.

Cocktails

S'mores at the pool.  So yummy and so messy I had to feed him.

Ahhhhhhhhh

Almost But Not Quite

Connor's basketball team made it to the championship game but lost by 6 points.  He had a great game.  Lots of people who hadn't seen him play came up to me and told me how impressed they were.  For me, that's better than winning the game.  I don't think he feels the same way as you can see in this picture!

Off Schedule

When you fall asleep and miss dinner the night before, you, of course, insist on mac & cheese for breakfast the next day at 6 AM.
