Combine a fantastic fast-focusing camera with a super automatic lens and an incredibly gorgeous little happy kid. Its a problem. A serious freaking problem. Which picture do you keep? I ask you. How could you delete ONE of these? I need more data storage. Maybe an off-site facility of some sort.

Sick
My poor baby got sick last month and crawled around on the family room floor wailing and doubling over for around 5 minutes. Until....he found the football. I think it took the pressure off his tummy. He slept like this for almost an hour.
Memorial Day
Somehow I missed posting anything about our Memorial Day weekend trip to Nana's. The boys and I went and it was fun. We had a good time at the parade which goes right in front of Nana's house and we got to see a minor league baseball game--the Lakewood Blueclaws--which just happen to be the namesake for Connor's little league team.
Numero Uno (Part Dos!)
We had a little birthday party for Palmer at Nana's house over Memorial Day Weekend. He loved it, as you can tell by these pics.
Feast!
My lavender "hedge" out front was covered in honey bees today. There had to be 30 or 40 of them. They are drunk with pollen. Got a nice shot of this one. Click on it and you can see that bee had buried in one of the lavender florets. I'm glad they're enjoying it. I certainly am. It smells like heaven in the front yard.
More On The Camping Thing
My fellow camping mommy--Carole Baird--dropped these (and a few more) photos off yesterday at my office. I love them. I didn't take too many...what with the chasing around of that small human and everything I was a little distracted.
We camped in Williamsburg--that explains the tri-cornered hat on the big boy there. On Saturday night we went to a very cool function at Jamestown called "Party on the Pier" where they have a full barbecue dinner (which was AWESOME--especially the banana cream pie) and a live band on the pier with all the ships. Everything is open but since most folks are there to dance and party...the historical stuff is kind of quiet and you could take your time.
I also love the great shot she got of me and my camping hair. And of the three frogs that the boys imprisoned. All of which I believe were named Ripken. And of course, the obligatory shot of the big boys and their beers.
It was a dirty, hot, buggy (I'm still scarred and itching), fun weekend.
Basketball Camp
Connor spent the first week of summer at Giant Basketball Academy's summer camp. He's played two winters in their league so we figured it was a good bet. He seemed to have a good time (he's not big on the "how was your day" feedback) and there were two kids there that he knew from baseball so he had immediate friends. He missed Friday because we headed out of town on our camping trip and that was too bad because during the first four days they qualify for Friday competition events and he qualified for three events: 3 on 3, 1 on 1, and Foul Shots. His coach told Bob that he's a pretty good player---he does seem to really like it. So, finally, this week, his basketball hoop (which was a birthday gift in April) got set up in the driveway. I have to say, the kid makes some nice shots. And Palmer definitely wants in the game!
